About the Artists

Albert (Avi) Feldman, a retired physicist, designs, digitizes and produces original machine embroidery. He is a member of Artsites, the guild for Judaic art. His work has been chosen for display at several juried craft fairs. His background inspired him to produce a series of embroidery designs based on important scientific principles including the work of scientists such as Newton, Maxwell, and Einstein. These designs have been used on quilts, sweat shirts and T-shirts. He has also been designing and embroidering quilts, decorative wall hangings, table coverings, towels, and T-shirts with various religious and ethnic themes. Of particular interest are his cross-stitch samplers that commemorate an important life event, such as the birth of a child, a wedding, a graduation, or a bar/bat mitzvah. His most recent work contains a combination of cross-stitch and back-stitch patterns. Avi is available to design, digitize, and embroider original and custom work for your special occasion.

Rosalind [Roz] Feldman has enjoyed sewing as a hobby for most of her life. Since retiring as a nurse psychotherapist, Roz has been more involved in creating and/or embellishing artistic utilitarian items inspired by nature, Judaic themes, and life passages. Some of the items are clothing, towels, blankets, quilts, wall hangings, and fabric bowls, made to last and be passed down from generation to generation.

Roz and Avi look forward to helping you select an embroidered item using any of our original or stock designs to meet any special need such as a birth, a bar/bat mitzvah, a birthday, an anniversary, a holiday gift, a graduation, etc. All embroidered items can also be customized with your choice of text or designs can be made entirely to order.

Albert and Rosalind Feldman are members of ArtSites, the Guild for Judaic Art.
